The Glue Machine is a machine with electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems used to put beads of adhesive onto brake lining. This machine is designed to operate automatically with the exception of the operator placing brake linings into the magazine.
A take away conveyor will remove the glued brake linings and move them to the customer supplied oven. This machine has also a water/powder pumping system to place a mixture on the back of the brake lining to prevent it from sticking when stacked.
The adhesive system consists of the following components:
- Drum Pump to pump the adhesive from the 45 Gal drum to the pressure pot
- Pressure Tank to pump the adhesive into the glue nozzle
- Pneumatic Actuator to allow the flow of adhesive to the nozzle
- Adhesive Nozzle to apply the correct amount of adhesive to the brake lining
